For nearly two decades, I’ve lived in and out of a suitcase.

As an airline pilot, life on the road means constant travel, unfamiliar cities, and the reality that plans can change in an instant. Over the years, I’ve experienced several natural disasters while traveling, including two earthquakes.

After the second one, I realized something unsettling: I was completely unprepared.

Like most people on vacation or on a business trip, I assumed help, supplies, or infrastructure would always be nearby. But when disruptions happen far from home, that isn’t always the case.

That realization led to months of research and development to create something practical — not a bulky survival kit, but a compact system designed for real travel disaster scenarios.
